Shannon is completing a six-month internship with the Center for Migrant Advocacy, from June 2014 to December 2014. Shannon holds a BA in International Relations and is working towards the completion of a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution at the University of Victoria in Canada. She is part of the Center for Asia-Pacific Initiatives (CAPI) internship program which places students with CSOs in the Asia region. Currently, Shannon is developing a working paper for CMA that relates the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to the context of migration in the Philippines.
