Building Bridges and Uniting Stakeholders
A paper detailing issues to address and ways forward for national, regional and local governments, migrants, and other stakeholders in the name of committed migration governance.
Partners including social structures from regions in Luzon, Visayas, BARMM, and Mindanao, local governments, government agencies, and other stakeholders convened in February 2024 to discuss their experiences on local migration governance. Resulting from the convening is a consolidated documentation of the good practices, priority issues and gaps, and recommendations across the regions which will later on be used in lobby efforts at the local and national level. Partners from BARMM who joined online and surfaced priorities of island provinces in the country.
